I joined MP Smarter Travel in November 2024 as Head of Communications. I have over 20 years’ experience in communications both agency and client-side.
Working in local government and for the active travel sector have been highlights of my career. I worked for the London Borough of Merton for 10 years. Following a broad communications brief at Merton, which included the built environment, town planning, design and regeneration, I moved to sustainable transport charity, Sustrans (now known as the Walk, Wheel, Cycle Trust). It’s here that I really saw the benefits of active travel for society as a whole and the value of creating a world where everyone has the freedom to get around safely and conveniently without having to be car dependent.
My degree was in German and French and I retain a love of languages. I also enjoy playing the violin as well as running, cycling and discovering new places.
